The Workplace Relations Commission found that Sylvia Finnegan was unfairly dismissed and awarded her €3,027.84 compensation for loss of earnings. Adjudication Officer Conor Stokes’ decision was dated 11 June 2025. Finnegan said changes to her hours and roster, and unsuccessful attempts to raise concerns with the employer, left her with no option but to resign. Farrelly’s Supermarket Ltd. T/a Daybreak Abbey Crescent argued that the changes followed a meeting and that she had not established constructive unfair dismissal. The respondent’s witnesses did not attend the reconvened hearing and gave no oral evidence.
