The Workplace Relations Commission found Paul Mulligan’s complaint against St Vincent’s Private Hospital was not well founded because it was filed outside the statutory time limit. The merits of his claim for retrospective pay were not decided. Mulligan said he had not received a pay increase covering February to December 2022 that colleagues received. The WRC, in a decision dated 6 June 2024, said his efforts to resolve the issue directly and obtain information did not explain and excuse the delay.
