The Workplace Relations Commission recommended that an employer take no further action under the Industrial Relations Act 1969 in a dispute about the procedure leading to a security guard’s dismissal. The recommendation was dated 10 June 2025. The worker had also complained under the Unfair Dismissals Act 1977, and the adjudicator said she had already considered the disciplinary procedure as part of that complaint. She therefore did not conduct a separate investigation under the Industrial Relations Act.
