The Labour Court recommended a phased 10% pay increase for Thirteen Craft Workers employed by Tirlán at its Ballyraggett plant. The recommendation, signed on 25 June 2024, set increases of 7% from 1 February 2024 and 3% from 1 October 2024. The workers, represented by CONNECT TRADE UNION, sought 22% over four years, citing a pay gap between craft groups doing the same work. Tirlán had offered 6% and said the higher rate was unsustainable.
