The Labour Court upheld the Adjudication Officer’s unfair-dismissal decision in Megan Clarke’s case in a decision signed on 26 May 2025. Parcel King’s appeal failed after the company did not attend the hearing; Clarke was present and ready to proceed. The company had told the Court it had ceased trading and no one was available to attend. It sought a postponement, which the Court refused. The Court did not reconsider the complaint on its merits.
