River restoration work on Hind River to improve salmon habitat

Inland Fisheries Ireland wants to restore a stretch of the Hind River by planting native trees, creating holding pools, installing livestock drinkers, and adding gravel to improve the riverbed for salmon spawning. The work is spread across several townlands in Co. Roscommon and aims to make the habitat better for fish and the riparian environment.
